Continuing a successful relationship with the Soho Theatre Word of Mouth were pleased to hoast another of our well received Actors Showcases in early Spring 2007.

Casting Directors and Theatre Professionals were invited to view the work of a talented group of actors including Femi Ogunbanjo and Caroline Colomei.

Word of Mouth staged D.D. Thomas'"explosively dysfunctional" (Camden New Journal) family drama exploring jealousy, rejection and fear within the family at the Old Red Lion Theatre running for three weeks during Autumn 2006.

Receiving critical acclaim as a piece of new writing to stage, London's 'TimeOut' Magazine said "there are some acute observations in D.D. Thomas' new play, particularly once Charmain Rhodes arrives.... Diana Walker is impressive as Charmain Rhodes".

Following our successful Showcase at the Camden Peoples Theatre last autumn Word of Mouth, in association with the Professional Artists' Network, have been pleased to host another series of short pieces and monologues at the Soho Theatre, attracting Casting Directors and Theatre Professionals to view the work of a diverse group of actors.

Word of Mouth produced a well received Talent Showcase in Autumn 2005 at the Camden Peoples Theatre.

The programme included a series of monologues and short stage pieces promoting the talents of actors Peter Karl Burgess and Tosin Olomowewe.

Shakespeare's classic tale of greed, power and madness was brought to life by Word of Mouth at the Baron's Court Theatre in the Autumn of 2003.

Playing for four weeks and receiving reviews from London's 'TimeOut' Magazine, 'Lear' was produced with support from the National Lottery 'Awards for All' scheme.

Word of Mouth's first production of theatrical 'shorts', 'A Word in Your Ear .....' was staged in Spring 2002 at the King's Head Theatre.

The programme featured performances of selected short pieces from works by C.S. Lewis, Jean Cocteau and Simone Tait and aimed to provide a lively evening of varied, challenging theatre.

'The Jamaican Heiress' written by Simone Tait (based upon Thackeray's 'Vanity Fair') represented the first original piece for Theatre to be both commissioned and produced by Word of Mouth.

'The Jamaican Heiress' was staged at The White Bear Theatre during Autumn 2001.

'The Changeling', Thomas Middleton's tragic drama the story of two damned souls, was produced by Word of Mouth at the Latchmere Theatre in Summer 2001 and reviewed in The Stage (May 17th, 2001) - "Diana Walker, as protagonist Beatrice-Joanna, .... holds the stage with her willowy athletic presence."

The production was supported by funding from The Royal Victoria Hall Foundation during a three week run.

Word of Mouth's production of Steven Berkoff's savagely funny and searing indictment of the English upper classes, 'Decadence', was staged at the King's Head Theatre in Winter 1999.

Produced under the working title of Amazon Productions this was to be Word of Mouth's first foray in to the world of stage production.
